Which companies are best suited to become OTOBO partners?
Companies that are passionate about OTOBO and outstanding service. Your expert team possesses comprehensive technological know-how of the OTOBO tech stack (e.g., Linux distributions, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, LDAP/AD, Docker, REST/SOAP) and offers services such as sales, consulting, implementation, or support. The economic and legal aspects of the open-source business model are the foundation of your business or part of a comprehensive best-of-breed offering for your customers.
The focus of your service portfolio lies in IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), or Enterprise Service Management (ESM), allowing you to advise your customers not only on the technology but also on the digitalization of associated processes.

Do we need a partnership agreement, or will we receive support without one?
By agreeing to the OTOBO Partner Program, we mutually commit to cooperation from the outset, share an investment in our partnership, and align on common objectives. Our joint customers should rely on our partner network to provide outstanding service and expert advice to successfully execute their service management projects. This is facilitated by the enablement measures outlined in the official OTOBO Partner Program.
Therefore, it is necessary for every OTOBO partner to agree to the terms of the OTOBO Partner Program before benefiting from its advantages.
Do costs arise for the partnership?
We charge an annual partner fee for certification and the use of the partner logo, which we reinvest 100% into the further development of the partner program and the foundation of our joint business development – the advancement of the OTOBO service management software.
We want to referr a customer but not become a partner. Is this an option?

How can we advance from one partner level to the next?
As an OTOBO partner, you continuously develop your team and build new skills. The number of certified experts is a criterion for customers to assess your ability to support larger projects and parallel customer projects successfully and promptly.
The OTOBO Partner Program will soon reflect this development, and the number of your successfully certified delivery experts will determine whether you advance to a higher partner level. Currently, this is not yet the case.
How does the enablement of our experts work?
As a partner, you will receive product training sessions together with other partners, or tailored specifically to your organizations needs.
When will we be listed as an OTOBO partner on the OTOBO website?
Once you have met the requirements specified in the partner agreement for the respective partner level, you will be listed on the OTOBO partner website. This typically occurs when you have at least one expert certified for OTOBO implementation. This ensures that customers can be confident that you can successfully execute OTOBO projects and have demonstrably acquired the necessary knowledge.
Our company operates in multiple countries. Do we need to apply for the partner program in each country?
No, you do not need to apply separately for each country. Sign up once, and our channel team will discuss the requirements with you to ensure that your country organizations also meet the necessary service quality.
Can we resell OTOBO consultants?
The goal of the OTOBO Partner Program is for our partners to independently handle implementation projects successfully while ensuring a high level of service quality. Therefore, the involvement of OTOBO resources should be the exception rather than the norm. In any case, prior approval from the OTOBO Channel Team and appropriate agreement on contractual terms are required for this step.
How long does partner enablement take and what does it include?
Enablement typically lasts 1-2 months for basic and advanced product training and certifications. These certifications are foundational and required for all resources. Role-specific training and certifications for sales, implementation, and developers are additionally provided as needed.
Do we have access to marketing materials or product decks to support our sales efforts?

Does OTOBO offer support after we have closed a deal?
Does OTOBO offer support after closing a deal? We provide technical support for all partner levels, however, we expect our partners to offer L1 support to their customers. Alternatively, partners can resell a support or OTOBO managed service plan to their customers with a one-time reseller discount. Additionally, we assist wherever necessary.
