To strengthen our Dev Team, we are looking for a Perl Developer / Fullstack (m/f/d) for the open-source service management platform OTOBO, to start at the earliest possible date.
You will work in our office near Straubing and/or from your home office.
Your responsibilities
- As part of our team and the international community, you will significantly contribute to the further development of OTOBO.
- We are growing and need support in all areas. Therefore, you will – at least initially – work on backend (Perl) and frontend (JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS). Long-term, you can carve out your niche.
- Depending on the requirements and your interests, you will design and code new OTOBO features or custom projects, implement the new interfaces in the frontend, coordinate community contributions, or take care of testing.
- If interested, you may occasionally accompany us to customer visits in the DACH region for the introduction and planning of new customer projects.
Your Profile
- You are passionate about open source, have completed education/studies in the IT field, or are a career changer with equivalent prior experience.
- You have good knowledge of Perl programming or other scripting languages, and can independently familiarize yourself with new topics. Important for the frontend: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS.
- You work in a structured and goal-oriented manner, keeping the big picture in mind.
- You can work independently but also enjoy collaboration – with the team, developers from the community, and with our partners.
