I’m new to OTOBO but have been using OTRS extensively for quite a while some years ago. I remember we had an option that was available to members of the admin group to impersonate as an agent (or as a customer). Is this still possible with OTOBO?

Yes, that’s still available via
Admin > Customer Users and
Admin > Agents

You have to enable the feature in the system configuration (search for „SwitchTo“ options).
