I noticed that when I log into the Customer portal, I am greeted with a message to set my time zone. Seems easy enough, except I don’t see how to access preferences. Any hints? Thanks!

That’s fixed in the lastest release – OTOBO 10.0.10.
We recommend to update as soon as possible, as it is a security update, too.
