Greetings!

I get to „Step 10: First Login“ and it says „with the password that was generated (see above).“ WHERE „above“? The only place I recall where a generated password is creating the database, but that is for the otobo user in database (which doesn’t work here). Where exactly was this password generated?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi James,

you have not specified any details about type or version of your installation, but the password generated for the initial admin user ‚root@localhost‘ is usually shown on the last page of the web-installer wizard from step 9)

Hallo Mike!

Sorry. That was pretty brain-dead of me not to include any details. I should know better. :oops:

I apparently missed something during the installation. I was pretty careful to record everything on the screen, but obviously not everything. Since I had created a snapshot of the VM before I started the Otobo install, I restored the snapshot and went from there. This time I was a lot more attentive and saw what I missed the first time.
